Announcement 09.25.19 By: Jeffrey Bluestone, PhD Share on Twitter Share on Facebook Share on LinkedIn Note from PICI’s President and CEO Jeff Bluestone: Introducing Our New Brand Since we launched in April 2016, we’ve been hard at work making measurable progress in cancer immunotherapy. As we evolve, our brand should evolve with us. To explore our modern identity, we spoke with our scientific leaders. They described PICI as “breaking down barriers in science,” “a new paradigm in cancer research,” and “moving the field faster.” These words became the heart of our new brand. Yes, our brand reflects our bold mission and vision: to accelerate the development of breakthrough immune therapies to turn all cancers into curable diseases. But it also allows us to truly highlight what makes PICI unique from any other organization in the field: Our collaborative force of top scientists working together to find solutions to cancer Our focus on the highest-impact research with the greatest potential to save lives Our support of the research process at every step to turn science in petri dishes into treatments for patients Our in-house experts who help clear the path from ideation to innovation – from sponsoring a promising clinical trial to navigating the complicated intellectual property process. Our brand is now as ambitious as our research efforts. -Jeff Bluestone, PhD Related Announcement, Press Release Parker Institute Welcomes New Co-Directors for PICI Centers at Stanford, UCSF & Penn Announcement, Press Release Parker Institute Commits Additional $125M for Audacious Mission to Cure Cancer Announcement, Press Release The Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy Awards More Than $1 Million to Four Early Career Investigators
