The T-cell—the all-powerful immune system player—is at the core of groundbreaking research at the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. Researchers collaborate across disciplines such as oncology, immunology and virology to genetically engineer T-cells and translate their discoveries into treatment strategies for a wide range of cancer types. Working with the PICI network, UCLA investigators are furthering research to learn more about the immune system’s role in the fight against cancer.
