Patient Story 06.03.18 Share on Twitter Share on Facebook Share on LinkedIn Cancer Survivors Day: Susan Schultz, PICI’s VP of Business Operations Today we celebrate the lives of those who have been touched by cancer, starting with one person who is currently cancer-free, Parker Institute’s very own VP of business operations Susan Schultz. We sat down with her to document her journey. Here’s a short transcript of the video above. I’m Susan and I’m the vice president for business operations at the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy. I have had cancer, breast cancer, and I currently have no evidence of disease. Now I don’t think my cancer story is special. Cancer impacts too many people, not just the people who have it but families and loved ones. It takes a significant toll. And it will be so wonderful when we find a better approach with both better outcomes and a better quality of life after diagnosis. Immunotherapy excites me because it provides hope. I believe we will make a difference in the treatment of cancer to improve the outcome for patients.
