Sean Yamada-Hunter, PhD Parker Scholar Biography Sean Yamada-Hunter, PhD, is a Parker Scholar and a postdoctoral researcher who is working alongside Crystal Mackall, MD, Director of the PICI Center at Stanford Medicine. He specializes in applying synthetic biology and protein engineering approaches to cellular immunotherapy, with a particular interest in facilitating potent combination immunotherapies, most recently through dual treatment of CAR T therapy and CD47 blockade.
