Christopher Cabanski, PhD Senior Director, Biometrics and Clinical Sciences Clinical Development Biography Chris Cabanski, PhD, is a senior director, biometrics at PICI. He leads the biostatistics, statistical programming and clinical data management groups that are responsible for the collection, analysis, and interpretation of clinical data for all PICI-sponsored trials. His career interests include early stage (Phase I and II) clinical trial design, data visualization and biomarker analysis. Cabanski previously worked as a senior biostatistician at Genentech, where he helped develop several early stage molecules across various immunological diseases including asthma, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and chronic spontaneous urticaria. He completed postdoctoral training in the laboratory of Christopher Maher at The Genome Institute and Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where he analyzed thousands of cancer transcriptomes to identify long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) that are commonly dysregulated across multiple cancer types. Cabanski received his PhD in statistics and operations research from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
