Byron Allen

Byron Allen serves as Associate General Counsel at PICI. Byron works closely with PICI’s business development and operations teams to optimize PICI’s strategic collaborations and partnerships across the PICI Network. He also provides counsel on PICI’s fundraising and investment activities as well as on corporate governance matters.

Prior to joining PICI Byron was Director, Legal at insitro, an AI drug discovery company. At insitro Byron built out the legal function as the company scaled from 100 to 275 employees, and led initiatives around and advised across a broad range of matters, including corporate, business development, M&A, transactional, intellectual property, litigation, and employment. Before joining insitro Byron spent several years at Roche supporting multiple businesses and teams across the Roche Group focused on enabling personalized healthcare, including next generation sequencing and digital pathology.

Byron holds a BSc in biochemistry and a JD, and he has also pursued studies in computer science.
