Stephen Maddock, MD, PhD Medical Director Clinical Development Biography As Medical Director, Stephen Maddock, MD, PhD, contributes to the design, conduct and interpretation of PICI clinical trials. Dr. Maddock ensures the safety of clinical trial participants as well as the integrity of the trial data. In addition, he participates in defining and shaping the overall strategy of PICI-focused trials. Dr. Maddock has had a rich career in clinical and basic research in immunology and oncology. He served as Medical Director for multiple phase I-IV Clinical Research Organizations, where he was responsible for data integrity and participant safety, regulatory affairs supervision, sponsor and IRB relationships, and screening/enrollment/completion of clinical research participants. Most recently, he provided clinical research medical directorship consulting on a breadth of experience. He has been involved in more than 100 clinical trials for pharmaceutics, biologics or medical devices. He was in medical product development in hematology-oncology-immunology and was an inventor on patents of a method of medical treatment in oncology. He was also a Clinical Physician Volunteer at Good Samaritan Care Clinic in Missouri. Stephen has an MD from Eastern Virginia School of Medicine and a PhD in Medical Biophysics from Indiana University.
