Jennifer Ayran, MPH Senior Clinical Program Manager Clinical Development Biography Jennifer Ayran, MPH, joined PICI in 2016 and is a senior clinical program manager. Ayran is the trial manager for two of PICI’s checkpoint inhibitor trials: the first clinical trial opened at PICI PICI0001 (MAHLER), a phase 2 study of ipilimumab vs ipilimumab plus nivolumab in patients with stage III-IV melanoma, and PICI’s first biomarker selected study PICI0025 (AMADEUS) an exploratory study of nivolumab with or without ipilimumab according to the percentage of tumoral CD8 Cells in participants with advanced metastatic cancer. Ayran’s attention to detail, ability to organize complex projects and bring cross functional teams together has supported the successful execution of both clinical trials and contributed to the building of PICI’s clinical development capabilities with the aim to bring immunotherapy to more cancer patients. Prior to joining PICI, Ayran was at the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of California, San Francisco where she led the Protocol Development and Regulatory Support Office and supervised a group. Her background and training include an MPH from UCLA, a bachelor of science in cell and molecular biology and a bachelor of arts in asian american studies.
