Farah Alayli, PhD Translational Scientist Translational and Regulatory Biography As a translational scientist at PICI, Farah Alayli, PhD, collaborates with the clinical and informatics teams to develop and implement analysis strategies for the ongoing clinical trials. Her focus is on analysis and discovery of key biomarkers that might be associated with positive or negative clinical outcomes in patients. Before PICI, Farah was at AstraZeneca (AZ) as part of the oncology early drug discovery team. Specifically, her research focused on tumor immune evasion and T cell modulation mechanisms aimed at better understanding tumor relapse and metastasis in pancreatic cancer. Prior to working at AZ, Farah’s research at the NIH and graduate school was focused on infectious disease and viral immune evasion mechanisms.
